Sounds: Repetitive negative news reports or TV shows, loud busy noises, traffic, machinery running, arguing can put you on edge. Change your experience of what you choose to listen to. Use soft, nature sounds, the wind, water, silence, music. Whether its classical rock or new age, music brings in a healing vibration that facilitates a peace, a pause.
Scents can affect us in many ways. They can be grounding, elevating, supportive, balancing and more. It has been researched that some aromatherapy can be therapeutic. Such as lavender, eucalyptus, et al. Add a soft scent that you respond to positively when you want the vibration around to be more positive. Open a window and let the fresh air in! Even the scent of homemade bread can be comforting.
